Tuesday's Work (8/9/11)
Today, I want you to draft your "thing," whatever that might be. If you haven't gotten an okay from me about your audience, purpose, genre, and claim, please make sure you do yesterday's work first (and ASAP). You need to have a completed draft of your thing put in the "Researched Project drafts" folder in Google Docs by this evening. If your thing is not something you can cut and paste, take a picture of it and upload that or upload the link to the YouTube video, etc. If you have any questions, just let me know, and I'll try to help you. I'll leave notes later on today about how I'd like you to give one another feedback. You'll be in the same groups as before.

So, mine wouldn't let me load it into that folder so it's just in my Kaylee folder under Thing :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't revived an email with your ok yet Dr.J.
ReplyDeleteKaylee, you should be able to post it in that folder now. I gave everyone access to edit (otherwise, all you could do is view:)).
ReplyDeleteI haven't received an email with your ok yet, Dr. Charlton.
ReplyDeletesame here Dr. J. No email with an ok
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking you guys may not be checking the email address that you're signed in to blogger with. I've sent messages to everyone so far. So, here's what I sent earlier.
ReplyDeleteEnique: With #1, you can't have both audiences, though you do narrow it later, so that's good. There's a program online where you can create your own animation. It's free; you might look to see what's available just as an option.
Mariela: Nice ideas (sorry--i did find the old email I sent you yesterday with the ok)
Alex: OK!
hey Dr.J would you happen to know what the website is?
ReplyDeleteIt may have been Xtranormal. I also noticed one called GoAnimate. I think there are free versions of each. Don't bother paying for anything. There should be free versions of this kind of thing out there. I just googled "create your own animation." I know you don't have the kind of time we'd normally have in a long semester, but there's usually a lot out there which is very easy to use; we just don't realize it's there:).
ReplyDeleteDid I get an ok?
ReplyDeleteYes, Kaylee. I sent it to you just after you posted.
